Kakheti tour with lunch and wine tasting

Depart from your Tbilisi hotel in a private vehicle for a full-day wine tour. On your way to Kakheti, pause to taste fresh-baked Georgian bread and local cheese. Visit the town of Sighnaghi and take in views of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.

Go to a tasting at a boutique winery with all-natural wines, and sample three varieties along with the local liquor chacha. Enjoy lunch and homemade red and white wine in a family-owned museum and wine cellar.

Continue to another wine tasting in a former bomb shelter, where you can sample two wines and try the traditional Georgian dessert churchkhela.

On your way back, pass the 16th-century Gremi monastery complex and visit if you wish. At the end of the day, return to Tbilisi through the Gombori pass.
